West Sound’s Sunday morning music team has three objectives. The first is to play a vital part in West Sound’s overall purpose of glorifying God by producing fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ from unchurched and unbelieving people. The second is to provide a music experience that will encourage seekers in their pursuit of knowing God. The third is to provide a musical component that helps believers offer their worship to God.
Some members of the music team are incredibly polished...to the point of producing their own music. Others are less so. What they all must have in common, however, is a desire to fulfill our three objectives. We're fond of repeating some very important words: "It's not about me and it's not about us."
So, whether you are a long time believer in the Savior looking to offer yourself in worship through music or a brand new seeker just beginning to check out the whole God issue, we hope you will find West Sound's blend of fast and slow just right. Should you find yourself wanting to bust out in song, then join the singing. Should you find yourself more inclined to simply listen, then relax and hear the singing of a group of people preparing to sing in heaven.
